Hotel Dravidar was started in thatched roof in the year 1955 with one employee. At that time it was open only for breakfast with Idli as the only item sold. Idly was placed on the table and customers used to have them and make the payment themself in the cash table which was almost left unattended.
It was continued by his son who expanded it further and its being run by the third generation. Hotel Dravidar has got 44 A/C rooms with a multi cuisine restaurant serving South Indian, North Indian and Tandoori.
